Job summary

Oak Animal Hospital in Vacaville is seeking an experienced Lead RVT to join our collaborative team. You’ll lead the technician group, coordinate daily treatment and surgical workflows, and work closely with veterinarians as their right-hand support.

This leadership role offers mentorship, scheduling oversight, ongoing training, and opportunities to apply advanced patient care, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and surgical support while upholding high medical standards.

Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of veterinary technician experience.
  • Leadership, training, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry skills.
  • Experience with low-stress handling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to mentor and support fellow team members.
  • Positive, approachable, team-oriented personality.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Schedule
