Job summary

Big Creek Veterinary Hospital is seeking a credentialed veterinary technician to join our team in Ohio. You will assist vets, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work while educating clients and maintaining detailed medical records.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician required or equivalent.

• Strong observer and manual dexterity for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures.
• Obtain blood samples, place catheters, and administer treatments as directed.
• Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver excellent patient care.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT)
• Strong technical and nursing skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dentistry
• Interest in professional growth and continuing education
• Experience in a fast-paced veterinary practice
  
  

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day shift
• 8-10-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends
  
  

Compensation

$16.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience and role alignment.
