Job summary

Stone Ridge Animal Care in Evansville, Indiana is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative three-doctor small animal practice. The role focuses on triage, nursing care, radiology, anesthesia support, and client education.

You will work with digital radiology, ultrasound and IDEXX in-house diagnostics, with a strong emphasis on Fear Free handling and compassionate care. Flexible schedule, no nights, and opportunities for professional growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RVT credential and Indiana licensure.
• Experience in small animal practice preferred.
• Excellent client communication and compassionate care.
• Ability to educate clients and teammates clearly.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and obtain histories, vital signs, and initial assessments.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Provide high quality nursing care from intake to discharge.
• Prepare medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communications.
