Job summary

Creekside Animal Hospital in West Lafayette, IN seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and work at the top of their license. You will access advanced diagnostics including CT and ultrasound, with AI-assisted tools and structured CE for growth.

You will perform anesthesia monitoring during surgeries, assist in dental radiography, support client communication, and collaborate with veterinarians in outpatient care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing RVT license in Indiana
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
• Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
• Dental prophylaxis and radiography
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Client education and communication
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Effective teamwork and professional communication

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during surgical and dental procedures including anesthesia monitoring
• Support efficient exam room workflow and clear client communication
• Review treatment plans, discharge instructions, and address questions
• Collaborate with the veterinarian during outpatient visits to ensure high-quality care
• Participate in case rounds several times per year with CE credit
