The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animal physiology and veterinary terminology, along with hands‑on experience in animal handling and care while practicing fear‑free techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes to the veterinarian.
• Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia administration and catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
• Provide education to pet owners on proper care and treatment plans.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
• Handle animals safely using appropriate restraint techniques.

Skills
