Job summary

Sanford Animal Hospital in Sanford, NC is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our fast-paced, team-oriented practice. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekend shifts, and a focus on work-life balance while delivering high-quality patient care.

You will assist veterinarians, administer medications and vaccines, perform dental cleanings, take radiographs, and maintain medical records using EzyVet.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Registered Veterinary Technician license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong technical and clinical skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Take and process diagnostic radiographs.
• Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures.
• Run in-house laboratory tests and diagnostics.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EzyVet.
• Communicate clearly with clients and teammates.
• Support efficient hospital workflow while delivering exceptional patient care.
