Kersting Veterinary Hospital in Chesterfield, MO, is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician to join a team delivering comprehensive care for dogs, cats and exotics. You will perform restraint, triage, lab analysis, imaging, and nursing care for varied case stability, with emphasis on accurate medication administration and client communication.
Experience with exotic species is a plus; Saturday availability and strong ethics are expected for a fast-paced, demanding hospital environment.

Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

We’re looking for:
$20/hr + dependent on experience level
Hiring eligibility may be contingent to a candidate authorizing and completing a satisfactory background check.
