Job summary

Heidt Veterinary Hospital in Lima, Ohio is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians with exams, treatments and surgeries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on clinic experience, strong animal handling skills, and enjoy teamwork and client education.

You will place IV catheters, draw blood, run in-house lab tests, and help educate clients while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Veterinary Technician license.
• Experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Strong animal handling skills and clinical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• CVT/RVT/LVT certification preferred or licensure eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.

**Registered Veterinary Technician** **Heidt Veterinary Hospital** located in Lima, Ohio is actively seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic, feel comfortable working up rooms and taking histories, embrace client education, have the skill set of placing IV catheters, ability to draw blood and run in-house lab equipment, enjoy working with other technicians and the veterinarians for the top level care of our patients.
