The role involves working up patients, taking histories, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running in-house labs, and educating clients about pet care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Ohio Veterinary Technician license.
• Experience in a clinical veterinary setting required.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CVT/RVT/LVT certification preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure.

**Registered Veterinary Technician** **Heidt Veterinary Hospital** located in Lima, Ohio is actively seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a veterinary clinic, feel comfortable working up rooms and taking histories, embrace client education, have the skill set of placing IV catheters, ability to draw blood and run in-house lab equipment, enjoy working with other technicians and the veterinarians for the top level care of our patients.
