Registered Veterinary Technician Heidt Veterinary Hospital located in Lima, Ohio is actively seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in a veterinary clinic, feel comfortable working up rooms and taking histories, embrace client education, have the skill set of placing IV catheters, ability to draw blood and run in‑house lab equipment, enjoy working with other technicians and the veterinarians for the top level care of our patients. If you are a Registered Veterinary Technician looking for a new clinic to utilize your skill set and enjoy working with a great team then we would be interested in hearing from you.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician License current in Ohio
• Experience in a clinical setting is a must
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
