As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you would perform vascular ultrasound examinations of a patient's lower extremities (and other studies as needed), balancing the needs of patients and maintaining an efficient workflow of the office. You would also ensure that patients have an excellent service experience.

This position works full-time in our Seattle, Bellevue, and Kent locations.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for recommending a safe, effective treatment plan.
2. Assist the Physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient and how it addresses the patient's specific needs.
3. Set up and clean up the procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by the treatment plan to ensure effectiveness and patient safety.
5. Adhere to standard time allotments for each ultrasound exam to maintain patient flow.
6. Coordinate with office staff, administrative staff, and Physicians to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring availability of ultrasound technicians and maintaining an efficient patient load.
7. Develop and maintain professional skills through continued education and interaction with other Ultrasound Technologists to comply with care standards.
8. Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure operational effectiveness.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program, required.
• Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), or ability to earn certification within 90 days of hire, required.
• Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.
