Job description

As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, ensuring a balance between patient needs and efficient workflow. You will also strive to provide an excellent service experience for patients.

This position is full-time and available at our Seattle, Bellevue, and Kent locations.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, addressing their specific needs.
3. Prepare and clean procedure, exam, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Conduct additional ultrasound examinations as required by the physician's treatment plan to ensure safety and effectiveness.
5. Manage time effectively to maintain patient flow and appointment schedules.
6. Coordinate with office staff, administrative personnel, and physicians to ensure ultrasound services are available and patient care is optimized.
7. Maintain and improve professional skills through continued education and collaboration with colleagues.
8. Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory for smooth operations.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
2. Registered Vascular Technologist, Vascular Specialist, or Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), or ability to earn certification within 90 days of hire.
3. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
4. Strong multitasking, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
