Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic non-invasive testing procedures to assess blood supply and detect obstructions, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Review patient history and clinical data, prepare patients for testing, and perform clinical procedures to gather anatomical, physiological, and pathological data.
• Maintain current knowledge of departmental standards, protocols, and procedures; participate in continuing education.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-CAHEA accredited vascular ultrasound training program and at least one year of post-graduate experience or demonstrated proficiency.
• Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or obtain within one year of employment.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
