Qualifications

• Must be registered by the American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in any of the following disciplines: Abdomen, OB/GYN or Vascular.
• Requires sensitivity and interpersonal skills with patients and family in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Requires effective communication skills with physicians and staff in any situation.
• Ability to think and act quickly to deliver efficient quality care in stressful situations.
• Must maintain a working knowledge of all ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities

• The Ultrasound Tech performs Ultrasound exams on patients as ordered by physicians in an ethical and professional manner.
• Assists in all aspects of the Radiology and Ultrasound Department.
