Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to diagnostic sonography.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures independently, following department protocols.
• Verify patient identification and ensure appropriate procedures are ordered and acknowledged.
• Document imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR and upload to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment with adherence to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely per department policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment of imaging materials.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with all policies and standards.
