Carilion Clinic seeks an experienced Registered Sonographer- Vascular for day shift in Roanoke, VA. The role involves noninvasive vascular ultrasound exams, preliminary reporting, and collaboration with vascular surgeons in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting.

Experience in vascular ultrasound is preferred; RVT/ARDMS or RVS/CCI registration is required or pursued. The lab offers strong teamwork, education opportunities, and relocation assistance."

Qualifications

• Proficiency to perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations.
• RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

Licensure, certification, and/or registration RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography. ARDMS or CCI. CPR certification required.* Assesses patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.* Operates highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).* Trains students and staff as assigned.* Creates a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.* Assesses data reflective of the patient status. Interprets information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs, and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.* Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.# **What We Require:****Education:** High school graduate or equivalent.
