As a Registered Sonographer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in an environment deeply committed to your personal well-being and professional development within a setting renowned for clinical excellence. The registered sonographer performs a variety of technical imaging procedures and provides quality care to patients. Experience: Two years of echo experience preferred with experience in vascular ultrasound also preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) and additional registry in RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) strongly preferred and required within 2 years. Life Support: AHA BLS required* Assesses patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.* Operates highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).* Trains students and staff as assigned.* Creates a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.* Assesses data reflective of the patient status. Interprets information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs, and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.* Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.# **What We Require:****Education:** High school graduate or equivalent.
