Carilion Clinic is seeking a Registered Sonographer for the Ultrasound (CRMH) weekend shift in Roanoke, VA. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment, processing patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging per ACR standards.

The position offers a weekend schedule (Friday–Sunday, 7a–7p) with on-call and holiday rotation, full-time status, and a generous sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance. Education and ARRT/ARDMS eligibility are required, with BLS-HCP certification expected.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or Ultrasound, or equivalent training.

Responsabilités

• Operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to obtain quality images per AC R standards.
• Performs patient processing activities including scheduling, registration, file management and documentation.
• Evaluates, positions and monitors patients with professionalism, compassion, safety and courtesy.
• Maintains continuing education and pursues professional credentialing.
• May travel between facilities and participate in on-call coverage.

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or an approved School of Ultrasound, or equivalent training, required.**Experience:** None required.**Licensure/Certifications/Registration:** Must be registry eligible through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in one of the following areas: vascular, obstetrics and gynecology, abdominal or neurosonography. AHA-BLS-HCP required.**Other Minimum Qualifications:** Demonstrated interpersonal and technical skills. Must be flexible in accepting assignments. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage changing priorities and respond appropriately to stressful or emergency situations.
