Job summary

MUSC Health Sleep Center in Charleston, SC seeks a Polysomnographic Technologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, and direct patient education.

Under physician supervision, you will administer studies, score sleep records, document results, and ensure quality patient care. Current certification or registry eligibility and BLS at hire are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant patient care experience.
• Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or related credential; sleep credential within 24 months.
• Current BLS required (AHA/Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Under physician supervision, administers sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders.
• Performs routine patient assessments and scores sleep records.
• Documents test results and transmits specimens for analysis.
