Qualifications

• Must have current RPSGT and/or RST credentials.
• High School Graduate or GED; Associate's degree in life science preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Background in nursing, respiratory care, cardiology, and/or EEG preferred.
• Typing, office, and basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to work third shift and maintain alertness.

Responsibilities

• Review history, physical information, medications, procedure requests, and study protocol.
• Explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep center.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM standards.
• Perform physiologic calibrations and troubleshoot signals.
• Perform PAP mask fitting and CPAP/ETCO2-related steps.
• Score sleep/wake stages and generate reports.
• Maintain documentation and assist with sleep lab operations.
