Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care for neonate through geriatric patients. The role involves ventilator management, patient assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds MT RRT licensure, NBRC RRT, and current AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS required within specified periods. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Montana licensure as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• NBRC RRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 60 days of start date.
• PALS certification required within 60 days of start date.
• NRP certification within 3 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care to patients across age groups.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and critical care duties.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Document care in the patient record and maintain EHR knowledge.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with care teams.
• Ensure safe operation and sterilization of equipment.
