Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Care) to join the team in Dallas, TX. This PRN position involves evenings with rotating weekends and patient-focused care using advanced respiratory equipment.

The role requires RCP and RRT on hire, BCLS, ACLS for ICU/ED, and NICU requirements if applicable. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate care in a Magnet-designated hospital.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communications, good interpersonal skills, and computer experience.
• Review available medical records and obtain pertinent medical history from the patient or family.
• Evaluates each patient using age- and diagnosis-appropriate assessment tests and measurements.
• Applies appropriate patient care interventions according to protocol guidelines and priority of care.

Here’s What You Need

• Other Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program required
• Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required

1 Year Med/Surg Or Critical Care Experience Preferred

• RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner upon hire required and
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist upon hire required and
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support ICU and Emergency Department only 90 Days required and
• NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP required if working in the NICU 90 Days required
