Job Summary and Qualifications

Respiratory Therapy involves assessing and treating patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction, both acute and chronic. Respiratory Therapists play vital roles in patient care, requiring broad knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology and procedures to diagnose and treat patients across all ages.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under supervision, including gas administration, aerosol therapy, blood specimen analysis, patient testing, equipment operation, mechanical ventilation, airway management, CPR, patient education, and monitoring responses.
  • Complete documentation, clean equipment, and maintain safety and infection control practices.

What Qualifications You Will Need

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; AS or BS preferred.
  • Missouri license and NBRC RRT certification required.
  • BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  • One year of recent clinical experience preferred.
