Position Details

• Hospital: Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County
• Location: Middleburg, FL
• Department: Respiratory Care
• Schedule: PRN, Day Shift

This is a PRN position and it is not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Evaluate and care for patients with respiratory issues.
2. Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
3. Implement and monitor patient care and equipment.
4. Record and communicate patient condition; perform advanced modalities.
5. Evaluate treatment effectiveness and medication administration.
6. Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources.
7. Respond to emergency codes.

Requirements

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from Florida Board of Respiratory Care.
• Advanced Life Support (preferred).
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification (preferred).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred).

Education

• High school diploma with 2 years of experience or an associate's/technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
