Job summary

Adira Nursing and Rehab in Saginaw, Michigan is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation team. You will assess and treat patients with chronic respiratory conditions, performing tests and developing care plans.

The ideal candidate holds NBRC RRT certification, works collaboratively with physicians and nurses, and educates patients and families on self-management.

Qualifications

• Current NBRC-credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to develop individualized respiratory care plans, including oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy.
• Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-management and independence.
• Operate and maintain pulmonary function testing equipment, as well as other respiratory devices and equipment.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient data and treatment plans accurately and effectively.

Requirements:
