Avista Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist Pulmonary Rehab to join our team in Saginaw, Michigan. The role focuses on delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders within a state-of-the-art facility.

The RRT/CRT will administer treatments, assess and plan individualized care, operate respiratory equipment, and collaborate with the care team. Education for patients and families will also be provided to promote self-management.

Qualifications

• NBRC CRT or RRT certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Active Michigan licensure required.

Responsabilités

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments for COPD, asthma and related conditions.
• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen devices, and nebulizers.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Participate in rounds to discuss patient progress and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to promote self-management and empowerment.

Job Summary

Avista Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist Pulmonary Rehab to join our team in Saginaw, Michigan, USA. As a valued member of our respiratory therapy department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with cardiopulmonary diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis
• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans to improve patients' lung function and overall health
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and nebulizers
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in rounds with the healthcare team to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improving patient outcomes
• Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and empowerment
