Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital - Bartlett is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care and perform advanced respiratory therapy services per policy and physician orders. You will complete competencies during the introductory period and work to support the department's standards of care.

The role requires CoARC accredited program completion and TN RRT license with ABG endorsement along with NBRC RRT credential, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensure/ Certifications: RRT license with ABG endorsement from Tennessee; NBRC RRT credential; BLS; ACLS; PALS; For Bartlett hires - NRP-NICU CRT; NRP CRT.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated skill with office machines, computer, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and patient therapeutic equipment/machines.
• Provides direct care to assigned patients, maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrates the ability to assess patients understanding of and compliance with instructions.
• Maintains stocked supplies and gas cylinders.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Performs related duties as required.

Job Summary

Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Performs various respiratory therapy services at an advanced level in accordance with departmental policy and procedure to insure therapeutic or diagnostic procedures prescribed by physicians are carried out in a professional manner.
