Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital in Texas is seeking a Respiratory Care Professional to provide respiratory care to patients and complete established competencies within the introductory period. Other related duties may be assigned.

The role requires current Texas RCP license, NBRC CRT/RRT, and completion of required CPR and critical care courses within specified timelines. Prior experience in respiratory care is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Some experience in respiratory care or related area
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current RCP State of Texas License, Possession of current CRT / RRT Certification from NBRC Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002)
• REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role
• AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering pedi
• AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering nicu
