Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join our PRN pool. You will perform evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing under physician orders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires graduates from an accredited program, current BLS/ACLS, Texas license, NBRC registration, and at least six months of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Texas Medical Board license in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

Your Job

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence base pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
