Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and deliver evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing as ordered by physicians. You’ll be expected to hold a Texas license, BLS and ACLS, obtain NRP within a year, and have at least 6 months of experience in respiratory care.

The department emphasizes patient safety, communication, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you‘ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
