Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX, seeks a Respiratory Therapist PRN to join a high‑volume, multidisciplinary team. You will perform evidence‑based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, active BLS and ACLS, NBRC‑registered status, Texas RCP license, and at least six months of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP and PALS must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• NBRC registered in respiratory care.
• Minimum 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Your Job:
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.
Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
