Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to join a technical, fast-paced team providing evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS within 1 year of hire, and at least 6 months' experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP and PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Texas.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Minimum 6 months respiratory care experience.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support - must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
