Job summary

Goodall-Witcher-Healthcar is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer prescribed therapies under physician supervision and assist in equipment care.

The ideal candidate is a JRCRTE graduate and RRT certified, with CPR and strong communication skills, plus ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A Texas license is preferred. The role requires standing for extended periods and interaction with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved JRCRTE Program.
• Registered as an RRT, CRT, CRTT or RCP.
• Texas license preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Current in CPR.
• Some computer skills required.
• Requires standing and walking, bending and reaching during patient care.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting of patients.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed respiratory therapy procedures.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures.
• Assists in cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Works under supervision of physician and Respiratory Therapy Director.
