Baptist Health in Town Center is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with breathing disorders; administer respiratory therapies; monitor ventilators; and collaborate with physicians and nurses to implement individualized treatment plans. Florida licensed RT required; BLS at minimum.

Qualificações

• Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist required.
• Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders
• Administering respiratory therapies
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Providing patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation

Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Responsibilities

Registered Respiratory Therapist Education & Credential Requirements

• Certificate Require Associate of Science
• Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
• Or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
• Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist Required-DOH
