Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at MetroHealth Medical Center. The position supports invasive and non-invasive ventilation management across multiple patient populations, with a biweekly 48-hour schedule and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.

Shift: 7p-7:30a; Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Personnel RRT Will Work With

• RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
• Possess and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification
• Reliable transportation to travel to other MetroHealth facilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a RRT in a critical care environment.
• Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA
• Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA
