Job Responsibilities
  • Perform critical care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary diseases across all ages.
  • Operate respiratory care equipment and perform related technical procedures.
  • Assess patients, interpret results, and suggest treatments.
  • Maintain proper documentation and communicate with physicians and nurses.
  • Provide respiratory support during high-risk deliveries.
Qualifications
  • NICU/PEDI hospital experience preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC.
  • Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • Current BLS certification; NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required for NICU RRT staff.
