Job summary

Under supervision, you will assess patients, adjust treatments, ensure equipment safety, maintain infection control, and document data in medical records.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure in California.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active CRT or RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient response and adjust treatments to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Ensure departmental infection control and equipment sterilization procedures are followed.
• Document data in the patient’s medical record after pulmonary program activities.
• Manage daily shift operations and coordinate with nursing staff and leaders.
• Maintain proficiency in PFTs and bronchoscopy techniques.
