Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to set up and operate respiratory care equipment under the supervision of the lead therapist and department manager, following physician requests for diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary conditions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, NBRC-approved program completion, active licensure, NBRC registration, and 1 year of experience, plus BLS/CPR certification. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of NBRC-approved program.
• Licensed with state Respiratory Care Board.
• Minimum 1 year experience required.
• Registered as a therapist by the NBRC.
• BLS/CPR through an American Heart Association course.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment as directed for diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease or illness.
• Works under the direct supervision of the lead therapist and department manager and the physician request.
