Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to set up and operate respiratory care equipment under the supervision of the lead therapist and department manager. You will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating pulmonary conditions, requiring NBRC-recognized credential and active licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of NBRC-approved respiratory care program.
• Licensed respiratory care practitioner in state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
• Registered as a respiratory therapist by the NBRC.
• BLS/CPR certification per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease or illness.
• Performs duties under supervision of lead therapist and department manager and at physician request.
