Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Oklahoma to join a caring, collaborative team. You will set up and operate respiratory care equipment under physician direction, contributing to diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities include patient care, coordination with physicians, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, NBRC licensure, and at least one year of experience, plus BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; NBRC-approved respiratory care program completed.
• Licensed by the state Board for Respiratory Care.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory care.
• Registered as a therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• BLS/CPR certification through an American Heart Association course.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Support physicians and therapists in patient care and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment sanitation.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and safety.
