Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland seeks a Respiratory Care professional to assess, plan, and administer cardiopulmonary therapies. You will manage mechanical ventilation and collaborate with the care team to tailor multidisciplinary plans for each patient.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Care is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care is preferred.
• Maryland State License Required.
• CPR Certification and BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• All credentials must be maintained with active status.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, applies specialized respiratory care knowledge to assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues.
• Proficient in administering therapies such as medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene therapies, and managing invasive/non-invasive ventilation.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to implement multidisciplinary care plans and fulfills assigned duties as needed.

Work Experience: Professional Background:

Entry-level to advanced position with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable RCS division.

Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
