Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to assess and recommend cardiopulmonary interventions. You will perform a range of therapies, manage ventilation, and collaborate with the care team to implement multidisciplinary plans.

New hire sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered; Maryland license and BLS/CPR are required, with ACLS preferred. Entry-level to advanced roles exist in this department.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC-accredited program is required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care is preferred
• Maryland state license required
• CPR and BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues
• Administer diverse therapies (gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene)
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
• Provide emergency care and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Implement tailored multidisciplinary care plans and fulfill assigned duties

Work Experience: Professional Background:

Entry-level to advanced position with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable RCS division.

Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
