Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5+ years of experience to deliver comprehensive respiratory care for diverse patient populations. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapies within hospital and department guidelines.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, education for patients and families, and active participation in interdisciplinary communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure and RRT credential.
• BLS certification; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory therapies.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatments and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and documentation.
• Support ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, and sleep lab activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Job description

The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory treatments within hospital and department guidelines.

• Delivering direct patient care and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to standards and policies.
• Applying advanced clinical expertise and troubleshooting respiratory issues.
• Educating patients, families, and healthcare team members on treatments and procedures.
• Participating in interdisciplinary communication and documentation.
• Supporting specialized responsibilities such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep labs as needed.
• Ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications include an Associate degree from an accredited program, valid respiratory care practitioner licensure, BLS certification, and RRT credential. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
