Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Missouri seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders and to consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy. You will serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff and perform duties as assigned. The role requires an RRT credential, NBRC certification, and a current RCP license.

PALS is required for ER staff; ACLS is preferred. This is a full-time position with shift TBD.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• RRT credential (NBRC) required.
• PALS required for ER personnel.
• ACLS preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
