Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients as assigned by supervisors and physicians, in both in-house and outpatient settings, on a day shift. Must graduate from an approved school of Respiratory Care and hold a Respiratory Therapist license with NBRC and Massachusetts registration; ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care to patients as assigned by supervisors and physicians.
• Performs PFTs to ATS standards.
• Operates and monitors ventilators and related equipment.
• Documents patient care and maintains accurate medical records.
• Participates in code response and patient safety procedures.
