Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine in Maryland is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and intervene for patients with cardiopulmonary issues. You will administer therapies, manage ventilation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement tailored care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and recommend interventions for cardiopulmonary issues.
• Administer therapies including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene, and manage ventilation (invasive and non-invasive).
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement multidisciplinary care plans and fulfill duties as needed.

Under supervision, applies specialized respiratory care knowledge to assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues. Proficient in administering diverse therapies, such as medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, bronchial hygiene therapies, and managing both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. Skilled in emergency care and collaborates with healthcare teams to implement tailored multidisciplinary care plans, while fulfilling assigned duties as needed.

Work Experience:Professional Background:

Entry-level to advanced position with demonstrated and documented clinical and operational systems competency in a comparable RCS division.

Salary Range:

Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
