MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night-shift, 13-week contract in Broken Arrow, OK. Join a supportive network that values clinical expertise and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, patient assessments, ABG analysis, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Must hold NBRC RRT, OK license eligibility, and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC-registered RRT credential required.
• Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation and ABG interpretation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory/cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and airway protocols.
• Administer aerosol meds, oxygen therapy, and breathing treatments.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and ABG analysis.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams on treatment plans.
• Respond to emergencies including rapid response and code blue events.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR.

• Administer aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and breathing treatments
• Perform pulmonary function tests, ABG analysis, and other diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust patient treatment plans
• Respond to emergency situations including rapid response and code blue events
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system

Requirements:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC required
• Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner license or eligibility to obtain
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, and critical care respiratory support
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
