The Polysomnographic technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in–center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. The technologist should be registered in sleep technology or be eligible to sit for the registry exam within 6 months of hire. The Medical University of South Carolina Sleep Center is in Charleston at the main hospital. It is accredited by The American Academy of Sleep Medicine. We are looking for dedicated people to join our team with a passion to deliver the best possible healthcare and education to our patients. We provide testing for all ages (0‑99+).
