Fairview Health Services is looking for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for their Riverside Sleep Clinic in Minneapolis. This position requires performing polysomnographic testing and operating medical equipment in a multidisciplinary setting. Candidates must possess an associate degree or higher in health sciences and have experience in a healthcare environment. A generous benefits package is included.
We are looking for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist(RPT) to be based out of our Riverside Sleep Clinic in Minneapolis, MN! This position is approved for 64 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible.This position will be working 12-hour, night shifts. This is a multidisciplinary clinic covering all aspects of sleep; Obstructive Sleep Apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and more.
Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis and valuate overnight polysomnograms. Operates medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology. Applies recording devices, cleans/sterilizes equipment, and monitors polysomnogram. Evaluates care and patients' response to intervention.
High standard of creative prioritization skills and priority setting. Shown focus on customer service/patient service with every interaction. Excellent public relations and interpersonal/communication skills. Work as an effective team member to deliver outstanding care. Ability to use appropriate computer applications. Capable of working independently, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and is dedicated to the Fairview Values. Ability to accept change and empower those around you to engage in ongoing process improvement.
