The technician’s role is to assess the patient with a suspected sleep disorder and evaluate their overall physical condition. The tech will assess the patient’s response to diagnostic services, tests, and therapies. The key role is to perform the test and identify the sleep-related breathing disorders. Sleep lab technicians perform procedures that are both diagnostic and therapeutic. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to the best practice and care of patients. A strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork is a must. Schedule would vary between the hours of 6 PM and 6 AM.
